8171 Benazir Income Support Program registration has started. Chairperson BISP Shazia Murree announced in a recent meeting that the registration of the Benazir Income Support Program has been resumed. Deserving poor and indigent people will be registered through the NSER survey. Benazir Income Support Program started in 2008. The objective of this program is to eradicate poverty. And to provide social security.
Benazir Income Support Program Registration through NSER Survey
This is a welfare program. Under this program, data from 90 lakh families were collected through an NSER survey in 2011. In 2011, NSER survey representatives went door to door to collect data from people. After collecting the data, NSER representatives and NADRA created a database. Benazir Income Support Program and the Government of Punjab have been using this data for the past 10 years.
But now the current chairperson of BISP Shazia Murree has decided. That the NSER survey data be updated. - It can include only poor and deserving people whose monthly income is less than 30 thousand rupees
- Widows can also join this program
- Only poor and deserving people who have never traveled by air are eligible for this program
- Whose passport is not made
